Section 71
Special provisions relating to collection of court fees

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 70, court fees shall be levied in the following cases as follows:-
(a) If the right to any property is to be foreclosed on the complaint of the defendant or the appellant, in accordance with section 68,
(b) In partial case, if the property was not filed with the complaint but was submitted with a counterclaim or if the property was damaged according to the court's demand for such damage,
(c) For filing a petition claiming both principal and interest, from the amount of interest up to the date of filing the petition,
(d) If it is decided to pay interest at the time of the judgment, the interest will be according to the law from the date of filing of the petition until the execution of the judgment.
(2) (2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if the value or defect is disclosed in any case, a court fee of one thousand rupees will be charged based on the value or defect as mentioned in other sections of this paragraph and in any other case where the value or defect is not disclosed under section 70.
